Alaska Project Tour – Glenn HWY/Muldoon Interchange
Sep 12 @ 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

SMPS ALASKA

PROJECT TOUR

Glenn Highway/Muldoon Interchange

The Glenn/Muldoon interchange is currently under construction to address significant traffic volume increases, pedestrian safety and bridge clearance. Upon completion, this location will have a new diverging diamond interchange with a much higher capacity for vehicles, reduction of travel delays, and safer, more efficient pedestrian access across the highway.

Join SMPS Alaska on a tour of the new Glenn/Muldoon Interchange Improvements. Led by DOT&PF Central Region Construction Project Manager Ron Searcy, PE, we will learn the history of the project, and go on-site to explore the technical and artistic elements of the improved infrastructure. Space is limited, so sign up early!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Meet at the Project Field Office, located at 7985 East 16th Avenue (a three story building east of the Muldoon and East 16th/Creekside Center Drive intersection).  The Project Office is on the ground level on the far end of the building.  Parking is limited; please park at the American Legion Post 29 parking lot (Muldoon and 16th Avenue) up against the earth bank and then walk a half block up the hill to the Project Office.

Please bring a safety vest and hard hats if you have them; they are required to go on-site.

Sincerely,
Rose Hanson
