POSITION: Interior Designer

Minimum applicant skills:

·         A bachelor degree in interior design or interior architecture

·         2-5 years of work experience in the field of interior design or interior architecture

·         The ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings, sketches and information, including the ability to communicate with others to clarify and coordinate project efforts

·         The ability to produce interior design plans, details and schedules

·         Working knowledge of building codes and guidelines as pertains to material selection, accessibility and egress

·         Proficiency in digital rendering

·         Proficiency in Adobe CS InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

·         Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Beneficial applicant skills:

·         Experience or proficiency with additional design and graphic software including, but not limited to SketchUp and Autocad

·         Experience or proficiency with Fixtures, Furnishings and Equipment (FF&E) design and procurement

·         Familiarity with BOMA area calculations

·         Familiarity in technical specifications

·         Currently working toward NCIDQ qualification, or qualified for and planning to sit for NCIDQ exam
