Mentorship Program

Mentorship Program

Objective

The objective of the SMPS Alaska Chapter Mentorship Program is to promote peer-to-peer mentorship through a formal mentor-mentee relationship. We strive to pair our chapter’s most experienced members with newer marketers to exchange information, and promote career and personal growth.

Participating in the Mentorship Program has given me the opportunity to experience the power of a different perspective, develop interpersonal skills and continue to learn about the many sides of marketing in the A/E/C industry.

Eligibility

The Mentorship Program is open to SMPS Alaska Chapter members only. If you have questions about your membership status, please e-mail the Membership Chair at membership@smpsalaska.org.

Any member may participate as a protege. Participation as a mentor is limited to members with a minimum of five years of experience in marketing in the A/E/C industry.

Participation

To sign-up as either a protégé or mentor, complete the Mentorship Program application and submit to mentorship@smpsalaska.org

You will then be paired with a protégé/mentor as appropriate and given ideas for activities you can do together throughout your mentorship program.  Your first cup of coffee is on us!  All mentor pairs will receive a $10 Kaladi coffee card!
